Returns, Exchanges & Alterations Policy – Sitara
At Sitara, every garment is designed and crafted with great care and attention to detail and are produced in limited quantities and involve specialized craftsmanship.
To maintain the exclusivity and quality of our creations, we follow a structured exchange and return policy.
All goods once sold are not eligible for refunds. However, items may be exchanged for a replacement or issued a store credit note, provided they meet the applicable terms and conditions outlined below.
If a store credit note is issued, it must be redeemed within 90 days from the date of issue. Please note that original shipping charges, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.

Faulty or Incorrect Products
Products will be considered faulty only if:
• The item is delivered in a damaged condition, or
• The item delivered does not correspond to the order placed
Items that are affected by normal wear and tear, or natural variations in fabric, embroidery, colour, or finish, will not be considered faulty.
If you choose to exchange a faulty item, please note that we cannot guarantee replacement of the same product in the same size, depending on stock availability. Wherever possible, we will offer to repair the item, subject to the conditions mentioned above.

Product Display & Colour Variation
We make every effort to ensure that the colour, appearance, design, and details of our products are displayed as accurately as possible on our website and digital platforms.
However, screen displays, device settings, and pixels may vary, and therefore we cannot guarantee that the product colour seen on your device will exactly match the actual product.

Return Window
Eligible items must be returned within 10 days from the date of delivery, unless otherwise stated.
To qualify for an exchange or store credit, the returned item must be:
• Unused and unworn
• Unwashed and undamaged
• Returned in its original condition with all tags attached
Items must also be returned with the original packaging materials in which they were delivered, including but not limited to hangers, garment covers, tags, boxes, dust bags, or gift packaging where applicable.

Once a return request has been approved by our customer care team, the product must be sent back via courier to the following address:

Customized & Made-to-Order Pieces
Items that are customized or made to order are not eligible for return or exchange.
If an incorrect size has been ordered, we may offer alteration without alteration charges, subject to feasibility. However, shipping charges for sending and receiving the garment will be borne by the customer.

Alterations
All alterations require a minimum lead time of 15 days, which may extend depending on the nature and extent of the alteration required.
Our team may take up to 4 working days to confirm the feasibility of an alteration request after receiving the inquiry.
In case of alterations or exchanges, to-and-fro shipping charges and any applicable duties will be borne by the customer.

Currently, returns and exchanges are accepted only within India.
If your item arrives damaged or does not correspond to the product ordered, please contact our customer support team within 24 hours of receiving the parcel so that we can assist you promptly.
